Key facts
- Lake lots around Lake Tyler and Lake Palestine often have no restroom during builds or weekend stays.
- Hunting leases and ranch crews rent units for the season on 28-day cycles.
- We rent only — we don't sell used units — so every unit stays on a cleaning schedule.
- The service truck needs a firm track to the unit, even after rain.
Can I rent a porta potty for a lake lot or camp?
Yes. Weekend lake-lot owners, RV campers and lease crews rent units on 28-day cycles with service. Set it near the gravel track where the truck can reach it every visit. A caller in our log living in a camper for six months rented one unit just for himself.

Can I just buy a used porta potty for my ranch?
We don't sell units. A rancher in our log asked the same thing, hoping to buy a damaged unit for cowboys working a remote pasture. A rental with service is the clean answer: the tank is pumped on schedule, the unit stays sanitary, and nothing is left behind when the season ends.
“We were trying to find a used or a damaged port-a-potty we could buy and just place down there permanently.”
How do you deliver to a rural lot?
Send a map pin and a photo of the spot, because rural addresses often send GPS to the wrong gate. The truck needs a firm track — gravel or dry ground — and about 12 feet of clearance under pine limbs. After heavy rain we may reschedule rather than rut your road. Tell us about cattle guards and gate codes.
Asked on our phone line
Questions callers asked us
Can I keep a porta potty for six months?
Yes. Monthly rentals renew every 28 days at the same rate with weekly service, and you can stop any time — billing ends on the day you call for pickup. Callers have kept units for camper stays, lake-lot builds and deer-lease seasons.
Can I buy a used porta potty?
No — Aaron Rental Works only rents units, so every unit stays on our cleaning and inspection schedule. A rancher who wanted a damaged unit for a remote pasture asked the same thing. For ranches and hunting leases, a long-term rental with monthly service is the usual answer.
It rained. Can you still deliver on red clay?
Usually, if the truck can stay on the driveway or road. Our trucks don't drive onto soaked red clay or fresh sod, because they rut the yard. The driver sets the unit on the nearest firm ground and calls you. For farms and new build lots, a gravel pad or the end of the drive is ideal.
What blocks a delivery?
Low wires, branches under 12 feet, parked cars, locked gates and loose dogs block the most deliveries. Move cars the night before, unlock the gate and tell us about pine limbs over the drive. If the driver can't place the unit safely, he calls you before leaving.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
No. Text a photo of the spot with an arrow, unlock the gate and keep pets inside. The driver sets the unit, snaps a photo and texts it to you. Many Tyler callers are at work on delivery day, just like the caller who said she'd be at work until two.
How much is a porta potty by the month?
A standard construction porta potty in Tyler runs about $179–$199 every 28 days, with one cleaning and restock each week included. Delivery is a one-time $49 charge, and pickup is included — there is no separate removal fee. A unit with a sink runs about $279 per 28 days.
