Key takeaways
- There's no daily rate: event units stay up to five business days for one price.
- The price covers two truck trips, cleaning and disposal — not hours on your lawn.
- Weekend events are delivered Friday and picked up Monday at no extra charge.
Why can't I rent a porta potty for one day?
You can — it just costs the same as four days. A porta potty's price is two truck trips, cleaning, chemicals and disposal. Whether the unit sits in your yard two hours or two days, those costs don't change, so event units are priced per event: up to five business days for one price.
“So we don't have a daily rate. Our event units are anywhere up to five business days.”
“For one day, not even a whole day.”
Why is the weekend the same price as a weekday?
Because trucks don't run on weekends. A Saturday party is delivered Friday and picked up Monday, so you get the whole weekend for the event price. Delivering on a Saturday or Sunday would cost far more in overtime — which is why companies that do it charge weekend fees.
| Event day | Delivered | Picked up | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday | Friday | Monday | One event price |
| Sunday | Friday | Monday | One event price |
| Holiday Monday | Friday | Tuesday | One event price |
| Wednesday | Tuesday | Thursday | One event price |
Then why do quotes still differ so much?
Because of what's added after the first number. In our call log, a two-unit quote of $270 each became $592.20 with delivery, setup and tax, and a $249 unit became $292.47. Some companies charge delivery on every unit, a fuel surcharge, or a removal fee after pickup. Compare the total charged to your card.
Dispatch notebook
One caller had been told “134 apiece.” The quote she got for two event units, all-in, was $592.20 — about $296 per unit — and the dispatcher offered to waive a $35 fuel surcharge if she booked within ten minutes.

What should I ask on the phone?
Ask four things: the total charged to my card, the delivery and pickup days, whether delivery is per unit or per drop, and what happens if I change the date. Our answers: one all-in total, Friday-to-Monday for weekends, delivery once per drop, and free date changes before delivery.
- What's the total, tax included?
- Which day do you deliver and pick up?
- Is delivery charged per unit or per drop?
- Can I change the date for free?

What's your daily rate on a porta potty?
There is no daily rate — Tyler event rentals are priced per event. Aaron Rental Works delivers on a weekday before your event and picks up the next business day, and that whole stay (up to five business days) costs the same as one afternoon. A Saturday birthday and a Friday-to-Monday reunion are the same price.
I only need it for a few hours. Is that cheaper?
No, and it isn't more expensive either. A porta potty costs the same for two hours or four days, because the price covers the truck trip out, the trip back, cleaning and disposal — not the hours on your lawn. One caller put it plainly: “for one day, not even a whole day.” The answer is the same flat event price.
Do you deliver on Saturday or Sunday?
Weekend events are delivered on Friday and picked up on Monday at no extra charge, so the unit is already set before your first guest arrives. Our trucks run Monday through Friday, with Saturday routes for urgent jobsite calls. The office answers Monday through Saturday, 7 AM–6 PM.
What's the total charged to my card?
Ask every company that exact question. Unit prices hide add-ons: one caller's “$249” became $292.47 after fees, and another's $270-per-unit quote became $592.20 for two. Our phone quote is the total, including tax, delivery and pickup. We text it to you itemized before you pay.
